Jordan makes no purchase in tender to buy 100,000 t wheat- trade – RTRS

HAMBURG, Oct 28 (Reuters) – Jordan’s state grain buyer has made no purchase in an international tender to buy 100,000 tonnes of hard milling wheat which closed on Wednesday, traders said.

Jordan has cancelled a series of wheat and barley tenders in October without purchases. Traders have said the limited selling interest to Jordan was due to strict tender terms on inspection and payment.

Jordan on Tuesday also postponed a tender to purchase 100,000 tonnes of animal feed barley.
